Street Connect is a Christian organisation with a mission to offer hope and opportunity of recovery for people disadvantaged by addiction and associated issues, including homelessness and poor mental health. Our experience has shown us that working closely with partner churches to deliver support within communities is a successful way for people to access the support that they need. We currently have Street Connect partner churches or projects in Glasgow City Centre, Possilpark, Clydebank, Paisley, Greenock and Blackwood. As we continue our vital work in each of these areas, our aim is to grow into new communities and allow as many people as possible to access the support they need.

To help achieve this, we are seeking to recruit a Community Fundraiser to join our Fundraising Team who, working closely with the Fundraising and Marketing Manager, can help shape fundraising within the areas we work.

You will build, develop and maintain strong relationships throughout each area and develop, inspire and motivate volunteers and supporters, both Churches and individuals, to ensure our fundraising activity is as effective as possible in delivering the maximum impact and income by creating opportunities to give.

You will be engaging, inspiring and have excellent interpersonal and relational skills, with the ability to provide exceptional stewardship. You will be able to build and nurture great working relationships and have a flexible approach.

For more information on this post please see the attached job description and person specification.

As Street Connect is a Christian organisation this post carries an Occupational Requirement in line with the Equality Act 2010. Please note that one reference must be from your church minister or leader to ensure your live and active Christian faith and commitment.
