  1. About us

Our partners

Here at Street Connect we know we don't have all the answers, and know the benefits of working collaboratively with other like minded organisations. 'Partnership' working is one of our core values.

We work closely with a number of organisations, varying from churches and charities to corporate organisations, colleges and funders.

Below are some of our official partners:

Bethany Christian Trust is a Scottish charity based in Edinburgh, registered charity no SC003783. It was set up to relieve the suffering and meet the long-term needs of homeless and vulnerable people.

The Trust's vision is that through Christian love in action, homelessness will be reduced and vulnerable people empowered to live independently within society.

Glasgow City Church is the church the work of Street Connect originally grew out of, and still have a very strong working relationship with. Street Connect office space is still within the church building offices, and our Saturday night drop-in cafe and recovery groups run from the cafe space within the church in Glasgow city centre.

The Haven Kilmacolm is a registered Christian Charity which has been in existence for over 25 years. Their residential programme has enabled many men over the years to become completely free from their drug and drink addictions. We partner with The Haven helping support and prepare men for moving on towards independent living. We also refer men into their residential rehab program.

Glasgow Kelvin College are official partners for running their Community Achievement Awards. This is a recognition of learning in the community through engaging in community activities, beginning at support level and working through towards volunteering. The community achievement awards come at 4 different levels, depending on where the individual is at.

We also partner with a number of churches delivering projects in areas of real need. You can find out more by visiting our Where We Work page.

We would like to also thank and acknowledge all those organisations who make sizeable contributions towards our work, varying from trusts and grants foundations to churches and corporate organisations on our funders page.
