Churches

We want to say thank you to our many kind church partners who support the work of Street Connect in a variety of ways. This support plays a vital part in enabling the ministry of Street Connect to continue reaching out to and supporting some of the most vulnerable people across our nation.

Connecting with the lost

By partnering with Street Connect, this can be one avenue the church can fulfil its mission of reaching the lost. There are many ways you and your church can get involved in our life changing work:

Pray

We know that God responds to prayer, and that our work is built upon the faithful prayers of many of God’s people. You can sign up to receive regular Street Connect prayer points by emailing [email protected].

Volunteer

If you would like to get involved in any aspect of our work, from admin to befriending through to street outreach or in one of our various drop-in cafes, you can check out our different volunteer roles to find something suited to your giftings.

Give

If you and/or your congregation would like to support the work of Street Connect with a one off gift or become a regular giver you can do this via our donate page. You could also have a church collection for our work. Another option is for the church to set up a fundraising event. This could be along the lines of a coffee morning, bake sale etc.

Church visit

We love coming to share about the work of Street Connect with local churches. If you would like to have someone from our organisation coming to share about the work at a Sunday or midweek service, or another event, please contact us to arrange a date.

Visit Us

If you and others from your church would like to come and visit one of our projects or visit our headquarters in Glasgow city centre, please contact us to arrange a visit.

Work with us

As part of our vision to empower the local church to reach the lost, we are always looking to work alongside and support local churches who have a heart for reaching out into their local communities. We believe the local church is one of the greatest resources in our local communities and would love to share our expertise with a local church who have a heart for reaching out. You can find out more by visiting our page on Church Partnerships.

If you're not part of a church but are still interested in supporting us as an individual, we'd love to partner with you financially or through volunteering!

Response to drug related deaths statistics

Let me begin by expressing my sincere condolences to the loved ones across our nation who are having to learn to live with the impact of losing their loved ones to drugs. Every one of the 1,339 lives lost across 2020 in Scotland, and the many more in 2021 and in previous years, are a great loss to many....
