Ricky McAddock - Chief Executive Ricky is our Co-Founder & Chief Executive and has been leading the work of Street Connect since it began in 2013 Expand Ricky also ran an outreach for a church in Ilford previously and has been involved in similar activities since 2011. His personal background of facing challenging times, further equips him to empathise and understand our client group at a deeper level. His God inspired vision to see people set free from a variety of life controlling issues and the local church being empowered to reach the lost is what continues to drive and motivate him and the organisation.
Andrew Pont - General Manager Andrew has been with Street Connect since 2017. Expand Andrew joined the organisation in 2017, originally as a Trusts and Grants Fundraiser, then as Business Manager and now in his present role as General Manager. Andrew has a wealth of experience working for a local authority and was also previously a missionary in Uruguay, supporting people in real need. He works closely with Ricky, our Chief Executive, to implement the vision of the organisation, including leading financial planning and management, and leads and manages the leadership team.
Alex Nicol - Service Development Manager Alex joined Street Connect in 2018 and has been part of our management team since the beginning of 2019. Expand Alex previously led an addictions charity in Inverclyde and comes with a wealth of experience in the addictions field. He is part of our strategic management and leadership teams and is responsible for overseeing the development of our project in Greenock, as well as the development and improvement of all our operational activities including systems, monitoring, evaluation and policy development.
Julie McAddock - Operations Manager Julie is our Operations Manager & Co-Founder and has been involved in the work since its conception in 2013. Expand The vision for the work began out of Julie's passion to see a work developed amongst women on the streets of Glasgow city centre. The work grew beyond just women, but her heart to see women set free from a variety of life controlling issues has seen her progress from Women's Support Worker to her current role. Julie is part of our operational management and leadership teams and leads the Operations Team of the organisation. She is also involved in the development of our new partnership projects.
Iain Duncan - Business Support Manager Iain joined Street Connect in 2017. Expand Iain leads our Business Support Team and is part of our operational management and leadership teams. His role covers a variety of aspects of the business side of the organisation, including management of IT, HR, finance and data, as well as responsibility for risk, GDPR, website maintenance and development, oversight of volunteers and many other aspects around our headquarters in Glasgow city centre.
Julie Ionta - Fundraising & Marketing Manager Julie joined Street Connect in 2020. Expand Julie has worked in the Charity Sector for 14 years, latterly as a Senior Community Fundraiser for Down's Syndrome Scotland where she led on community fundraising and campaigns. Julie has joined Street Connect to lead the Fundraising & Marketing Team.
Craig Halkett - Project Coordinator Craig has been with Street Connect since 2017. Expand Craig originally joined the organisation as an outreach worker in 2017 and in 2018 he became a Project Coordinator for both Glasgow city centre street outreach activities and also launched our project in Clydebank. He has vast experience running outreach activities in Clydebank, previously with Teen Challenge for over 10 years.
Rebekah Cameron - Trust and Grants Fundraiser Rebekah joined the Street Connect team in 2019. Expand Rebekah is a recent University of Glasgow graduate. Having achieved her Law degree in 2018 she completed her Master of Research in Law in August 2019. As a student Rebekah was involved in a range of Christian social justice work as a committee member for Just Love Glasgow, co-leading a Ten8 Team and volunteering weekly with Glasgow City Mission.
Anne Walker - Fundraiser Anne has been part of the Street Connect staff team since 2017. Expand Anne's main responsibilities are around trusts and grants fundraising, but she is also involved in the development of fundraising and communications strategies, including having a role in the development of communications material, particularly social media.
Catriona Yates - Individual Giving & Legacy Fundraiser Cationa joined the Street Connect team in 2019. Expand Catriona brings a wealth of fundraising experience including in relation to individual donors, major donors, legacies, trusts, marketing and event management. Catriona has gained this experience in a range of diverse roles including UK-based Christian, social justice and disability charities and a USA-based homeless services organisation.
Kathryn Thomson - Communications Officer Kathryn joined the Street Connect staff team in 2018. Expand Kathryn has previously worked in both communications and administrative roles with various other charities. She has a degree in Scottish literature and works within our Fundraising & Marketing team, dealing with all aspects of our external communications
Isobel Hanlon - Administrator Isobel joined the Street Connect team in 2019. Expand Isobel works as part of our Business Support team based in our Glasgow city centre headquarters and brings a wealth of experience from, among other things, 17 years working within Glasgow's higher education institutions.
Andy McDougall - Senior Support Worker Andy joined the Street Connect Operations team in July 2020. Expand Andy has a wealth of experience working with the broken. He has worked as a team leader at Betel residential rehab and most recently left a management position in the Lighthouse in Rotherham to return to Scotland and join Street Connect. Andy came to faith 9 years ago and has an amazing testimony of being set free from drugs. He has a passion for outreach and a wants to share the same hope that he has been shown to others.
Pamela McFadden - Women's Support Worker Pamela re-joined Street Connect as Women's Support Worker in May 2020. Expand Pamela previously worked with Street Connect before returning to bible college at Glo for 1 year. After Bible College she spent another year working for Teen Challenge, at their woman's centre Hope House. Pamela will be supporting our female participants and being involved in Street Outreach work in our various hubs.
Susan Graham - Women's Support Worker Susan joined the team in March 2021. Expand Susan has been a Christian since her early teenage years and has volunteered with both Teen Challenge and Broken Chains for many years. She worked with Faith in throughcare in Kilmarnock supporting short term prisoners on release from HMP Kilmarnock and then worked in the Drug Crisis Centre before joining Street Connect in March 2021.
Lee Gow - Men's Support/Outreach Worker Lee joined Street Connect in June 2020 as Men's Support/Outreach Worker. Expand Lee, who also works at The Haven Kilmacolm, has joined Street Connect to help support our male participants and will be involved in Street Outreach. Lee has an amazing testimony of being set free from drugs and passionately shares his testimony to help others.
Jamie Cremin - Men's Support/Outreach Worker Jamie re-joined Street Connect in June 2020. Expand Jamie, who also works for Bethany Christian Trust, has been with Street Connect on and off since 2018. In his current role with Street Connect, Jamie helps to support our male participants and is involved in Street Outreach in Glasgow city centre and Possilpark. Jamie has experienced an amazing transformation in his own life and uses this to passionately share his testimony to help others.
Jane Abisoye - Women's Support/Outreach Worker Jane joined the Street Connect team in August 2020. Expand Jane has been serving as a Volunteer at both the Glasgow Outreeach Cafe and the Clydebank project for the last 2 years. Jane comes with a wealth of experience behind her, as she herself struggled for many years with Addiction before finding help and freedom in Jesus. Jane has also gained invaluable experience whilst working with the Scottish Drug Forum and working as a volunteer with Teen Challenge Strathclyde on the Clydebank bus.
David Connell - Project Worker David joined the Street Connect staff team in June 2020. Expand David works with our team in Paisley and facilitates our online recovery groups. He has worked with people with life controlling problems for 17 years, including leading a group of volunteers on the Teen Challenge bus in Paisley for a number of years, leading 'ICTHUS' support group and a drop-in cafe.
Adam Inglis - Auxiliary Project Worker Adam joined the Street Connect staff team in April 2020. Expand Adam had been on an internship with Street Connect since mid-2019 and has shown a real compassion, empathy and enthusiasm for the people we help. Adam has experienced a profound transformation in his own life and is very passionate in his desire to help other people achieve this in their lives. As well as being involved in a number of our projects, Adam also volunteers with similarly-minded organisations such as Glasgow City Mission and Glesga Roasters.
